Role Overview:
As a Phone and Chat Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in assisting individuals by providing helpful and timely support via phone and chat platforms. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy connecting with people, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact in their community.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to phone calls and chat inquiries from individuals seeking assistance or information.
• Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic communication to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Assist in guiding users to appropriate resources or services, based on their needs.
• Document interactions and update records in a clear and organized manner.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members or leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent and high-quality support for users.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A friendly, professional, and patient demeanor.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with chat applications and phone systems.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
• Previous customer service or support experience (preferred but not required).
